2026 Route Change for 104km, 80km and 57km rides

The 2026 route follows the same route used in 2024, but with one small change to provide better visibility for riders. At North Turramurra, outbound riders will now turn left into Keats Road (rather than Apps Avenue), before turning right into Ettalong Road and then left onto the bike path adjacent to Burns Road.

On your return from Terrey Hills along Booralie Road you will now be directed by our marshals to a tunnel below Mona Vale Road. The tunnel is narrow and steep and is shared with pedestrians and equestrians. So please engage a low gear for the steep uphill section, ride in single file, stop, and give way to anyone riding a horse.

Keeping the Bobbo green

We want to keep the Bobbo green. To that end, we are:

■  Encouraging riders to reduce waste, and re-use and recycle where possible

■  Making water available at the drink stops and The Bobbo Village from containers, bypassing the need for plastic water bottles;

■  Asking our vendors to consider using recyclable or biodegradable cutlery, plates and cups;

■  Asking our coffee vendors to consider the provision of non-dairy options;

■  At Karuah, providing special purpose bins for re-cyclable waste material; 

■  Encouraging participants to use public transport or car pooling to and from the event – which will also improve traffic in the immediate vicinity and ease the pressure on our neighbours.

Bobbo is delighted to welcome our new media partner, Radio Northern Beaches. Broadcasting since 1984, Radio Northern Beaches offers a diverse range of locally-made programs to the 260,000 people on Sydney’s Northern Peninsula.  We’re on air 24 hours a day with more than fifty programs a week featuring every music style and era, as well as interviews about local issues, the Beaches environment, books, finance, classic cars, volunteering, innovation and more.  Outside broadcasts are a feature of the station, especially surf carnivals, book fairs, music festivals and regular coverage of live music at local venues.  The station is run entirely by volunteers, more than sixty of them, with regular Radio Skills Workshops producing a constant stream of new talent.
